| Week Starting 21 May 2012 | | We have all melons availableas the week starts. A fruitfly was found on a Watermelon, which heald up delivery. All melons are coming from Australia and the supply is not guaranteed with both shipping and quality issues. As the weather generally is deteriorating it may affect the arrival of ships with the produce on board.
Yams are due to start this week. |
| Week Starting 14 May 2012 | | We are only a few weeks away from the next public holiday, Queen's Birthday. From next week, our usual information will be here, on the home page, about ordering deadlines and delivery times for the holiday weekend. |
| Week Starting 07 May 2012 | | Cauliflower and Broccoli have been at good prices during the past week. The cold snap is likely to drive up the price of greenhouse produce. We will see the effects of last week's cold snap as this week rolls on. I am away this week, on leave, so all enquiries will be handled by Wayne or Ken. The out of hours calls and the texts will still be handled by me during this week, so there is no need to learn a new number for those. |
